One Encounter in 4 Films. Canto do Bode conducted acting and camera experiments that resulted in a 30-minute sequence shot. It features Nisa Eliziário and Samuel MacDowell. The cinematography is by Mauro Corage and the lighting by Renato Machado. The material was made available to four Brazilian and Portuguese artists: Fabio Rebelo (PT), Manoel Prazeres (BR), Mauro Corage (PT), and Vinicius Dratovsky (BR), who were invited to create their own montages based on the original: four short films. Surrealist Incursions. The event brought together in Lisbon the DIADEMA DANCE COMPANY (BRAZIL) and the PERFORMA NUCLEUS (BRAZIL) for a conversation about the creative processes of the award-winning company from the city of Diadema (São Paulo) and for a workshop around the creation of the show SCinestesia, a production by the Company created in partnership with the Performa Nucleus. After the workshop, an experiment was carried out in order to explore a process of "deconstructing" SCinestesia. (Lisbon, July 21 and 22, 2023)

Study groups

Encounters with Brecht's Galileo. A study group, created in partnership with Teatro do Imigrante, centered around the play The Life of Galileo. The weekly sessions are dedicated to investigating Bertolt Brecht's text in order to delve into questions surrounding Brechtian theatre and to establish connections with contemporary political, philosophical, and artistic thought. (April to December 2024).

Study group created during the Covid-19 pandemic with participants from Brazil, Portugal, and Peru. The group will remain active until 2025 with weekly meetings.

Mobile Focuses: Encounter Practices. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and led by guest artist Ana Kfouti (PUC-Rio/Brazil). The workshop promoted the sharing of concepts and dynamics of the mobile focus practice, focused on the art of acting, in the expanded field of performing arts, created and developed by Ana Kfouri throughout her artistic career. (Lisbon, February 28, 2026).
Theatrical Ecosystems or Intelligence of Mangroves. Encounter Practices. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and led by guest artist Marcela Moura (Brazil). The workshop aimed, based on the observation of behaviors in complex natural systems, such as mangroves, to develop a transdisciplinary investigation/creation that integrates aesthetic, socio-environmental and political issues. (Lisbon, October 18, 2025).
Children of Main Street: Exercises. Encounter Practices. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and led by guest artist François Kahn (France). In this workshop based on the short story Children of Main Street by Franz Kafka, participants will be guided through individual and group exercises with the aim of developing their own character and actions. The question that will underlie the entire process will be: how can the actor create their own score of action? (Lisbon, November 9th and 10th, 2024)
Somatic-Performative Approach, Intermodality, and Countercolonial Research. Encounter Practices. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and led by guest artist Ciane Fernandes (UFBA). So that we do not forget our childhood heritage. Encounter Practice. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and led by guest artist Tatiana Motta Lima (UNIRIO). The notions of contact (from Grotowski), listening, floating attention, joint attention , extended perception and microperception were investigated for a reconnection with the "childhood heritage," with those moment-events in which action is not the property of a given individual, but participation in the flow of life (and the scene). Agama-Fo: creation, performance and transcultural contemporary dance. Encounter Practice. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and led by visiting artist Anani Sanouvi. In this edition, practices of the Agama Fo pedagogy were experimented with: a process of study, refinement, creation and representation of body-territories of resistance and resilience. What the Word Provokes in the Body. Encounter Practice. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and led by visiting artist Jacyan Castilho (UFRJ/Brazil). In this edition, procedures for studying texts through bodily tools were experimented with. With the aim of analyzing discourses (dramatic and non-dramatic texts), movement analysis tools are used, mainly from the Laban Movement Analysis system and Body Awareness games. Nomadic Laboratories: Bodies, Voice and Soma. Encounter Practice. This event, organized in partnership with CET/FLUL and with the support of Forum Dança, was led by visiting artists Andrea Maciel and Patrick Campbell from Cross Pollination (UK/DK). In this second edition of the program, performative creation strategies were explored, emphasizing the actor's/actress's bodily, vocal, and somatic work, drawing from Wolfsohn-Hart voice work, physical theatre, and somatic techniques, filtered through a collaborative creative ethos inherent to Cross Pollination's practice. Event organized in partnership with CET/FLUL, was conducted by visiting artists from Cia. do Caminho Velho (São Paulo/BR) and O Canto do Bode (PT). In this first edition of the program, in addition to the workshop offered by the visiting artists, practices investigated by the Brazilian and Portuguese collectives were shared.
